Method Acting

TO BECOME.

Method Acting is a means to become the part or the character. Through various emotional and physical tools the actor transforms himself into the character and ceases to be himself. Method Acting provides creative, and extremely raw tools to an actor and is used often to unconsciously accomplish an authentic performance. The treatment involved is sincere and honest. The actor lives through and experiences the life of the character, or rather brings to life the character within the framework of the story in such a way, that the character becomes another human being and ceases to be a character itself. In simple words, the actor creates a truthful person on stage.
