Our Story

DreamScope Theatre, established in 2003 by Puja Goyal, focuses on creating and staging socially relevant stories across stage, radio, and film. Our first play, “Bang Bang You’re Dead,” written by William Mastrosimone, was mentored and guided by the writer himself, despite his busy schedule writing for Stephen Spielberg, ensuring a successful production.

We create Art, sometimes we create controversies.

Bang Bang You’re Dead” marked the inception of our socially relevant stage productions. Encouraged and supported by our audiences, patrons, and sponsors, we presented “THE AFGHAN WOMEN,” a fundraiser for Afghan Orphan Care, aiming to construct a school for orphans in Afghanistan. Since then, we’ve been actively engaged in theatre, from street performances raising awareness about food shortage to recording a radio play for A.I.R. to combat drug abuse and child trafficking.

One of our most beloved projects, “THE FOREST,” was organized entirely with recycled materials, resulting in zero waste. Featuring 95% child performers, the production ran for ten days, captivating audiences with its innovative approach.

In 2008, we ventured into theatre-based children’s education with a workshop at Redberryz Montessori, eventually training over one lakh children in performing arts and collaborating with various institutions. Our commitment extends to community building and providing education to marginalized children through theatre-based experiences.

In 2015, we produced our debut independent children’s film, “Namma Aranya Pradesha” completed in 2022, now earning acclaim at film festivals worldwide. Scheduled for screening in India from June 2024, schools can book screenings by contacting us directly.
